Owner and lead photographer here at Amanda Magee Photography.
I’m so happy you’re here! I’m a lifestyle photographer located in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. I’m a lover of tall grass, golden light and authentic connection. My main focus is to capture real moments as they happen. I don’t want to just take your picture, I want to tell your unique story through my lens.
I have always been fascinated by the power that images have to tell stories and capture moments in time. My love for photography started at a young age when my mom constantly had a camera in her hand; taking our Easter, Halloween and Christmas pictures and everything in between!
Over the years, I have honed my skills and developed my own unique style. I gravitate towards the in-between moments that showcase who you really are. I am constantly pushing myself to explore new techniques and push the boundaries of my art.
Whether I am working on a personal project or capturing images for a client, my goal is always the same: to create images that evoke emotion and tell a story. I believe that every person and every moment is unique, and it is the force that drives me as a photographer to capture that uniqueness and create images that will stand the test of time.

I have worked with Amanda on every single one of our family photo shoots since I had my oldest son 5 years ago, and every session just gets better than the last! Amanda is simply wonderful with the kids! She puts the craziness of trying to take a nice picture with toddlers at ease, and even calms us parents down, when we are in the chaos of trying to handle it all! The pictures come out so warm, and amazing and you would have never even known there were meltdowns in between each snap ! Amanda is one of the sweetest people I have met, and has the patience of a saint. There is no one I trust more than her with our family photo shoots, and those are pretty much the only pictures that I blow up in my house! Her work is as amazing as she is :)
